Position Summary

MDVIP is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist II to join our Finance team in Boca Raton, FL. Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for handling the organization's membership payments, weekly invoicing and contract management within the financial system. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skills, experience working with contracts or financial documentation, and the ability to manage detailed, high-volume workflows with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate member invoicing and billing notices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Review, analyze, and input high-volume physician contract data into the financial system, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
  • Ensure billing aligns with contract terms, payment schedules, and membership details.
  • Process and reconcile daily deposits, including checks, lockbox transactions, and electronic payments.
  • Investigate and resolve payment exceptions such as returned payments and credit card chargebacks.
  • Support mailings related to membership billing and contract updates.
  • Identify discrepancies in contracts or billing data and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation to support audit and reporting requirements.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, along with strong data entry abilities. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Contract Administration, Financial Operations, Legal/Document Review, or other detail-intensive administrative roles.
  • Experience reviewing contracts, invoices, or financial documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skill set.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Sage/MAS.
