Position Summary

The Director of Lead Generation, Physician Marketing, is responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing a comprehensive lead‑generation marketing engine to identify, engage, and convert physicians into the MDVIP personalized healthcare model. Reporting to the Vice President of Physician Marketing, this leader will drive strategic growth by developing multi‑channel demand‑generation programs, data‑driven outreach strategies, and operational processes that deliver qualified physician leads into the recruitment funnel. This role will collaborate closely with Physician Development, Business Development, Product Growth, Analytics, Brand, and Executive Leadership to ensure MDVIP reaches and engages high‑quality physician prospects across the country. Success will be measured by increased physician lead volume, lead quality, funnel velocity, and contribution to overall physician enrollment goals. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the national physician lead‑generation strategy, including digital, email, content syndication, paid media, event recruitment, referral programs, partnerships, and outbound campaigns. 
  • Build and manage a scalable lead‑generation ecosystem that produces a predictable volume of high‑quality physician prospects. 
  • Oversee and manage campaign planning, execution, optimization, and performance reporting across all channels. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize website content, landing pages, SEO, and marketing automation workflows that support physician acquisition. 
  • Partner with internal teams to define target physician segments, build predictive models, and establish scoring and qualification criteria. 
  • Lead the development of thought‑leadership content and messaging for physician audiences. 
  • Manage and improve the lead‑handling process, ensuring accurate tracking, timely follow‑up, and seamless lead flow into recruitment systems. 
  • Monitor campaign performance, budget utilization, and ROI; produce executive‑level insights and dashboards. 
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and accelerate funnel progress. 
  • Ensure all physician‑facing marketing efforts comply with regulatory guidelines. 

Key Competencies

  • Proven success building and scaling B2B or physician‑focused lead‑generation programs. 
  • Strong leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams. 
  • Expertise across digital marketing channels, CRM/automation platforms, analytics, and funnel optimization. 
  • Exceptional strategic thinking paired with hands‑on execution. 
  • Excellent communicator with strong executive‑level presence. 
  • Highly analytical and data‑driven; comfortable managing KPIs. 
  • Strong collaboration and influence skills. 
  • Results‑oriented and resourceful. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Seven (7) years of marketing, growth, or demandgeneration experience.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing channels (Meta, Google, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience marketing to physicians.
  • Expertise with Salesforce CRM.
  • Understanding of healthcare industry trends and physician engagement.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across appropriate US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience.
