Position Summary

The Executive Director, Product & Strategic Partnerships is a senior enterprise leader accountable for

advancing MDVIP’s growth and differentiation through product and partnerships that materially enhance the

physician and member experience. This role serves as the primary strategic partner to Product, translating

MDVIP’s vision for personalized primary care into a scalable ecosystem of partner-enabled solutions.

 

This leader owns the end-to-end partnership lifecycle—from strategy and sourcing through integration,

performance management, and optimization—ensuring partnerships are embedded into MDVIP’s product

roadmap, service model, and practice workflows. Success requires balancing long-term product vision with

hands-on execution, while influencing Product, Growth, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Physician

Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect the future of MDVIP’s Wellness program to advance it to meet the needs of our members

and physicians, ensuring offerings evolve to meet the changing needs of physicians and members.

• Define and own MDVIP’s product partnership roadmap to support growth, expand services, and

strengthen the physician/patient experience.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate relationships with healthcare, wellness, diagnostic, and technology

companies that complement MDVIP’s offerings.

• Work closely with Product, Growth, and Operations teams to embed partner solutions into MDVIP’s

service model and practice workflows.

• Serve as senior sponsor for key partners, fostering trust and ensuring long-term alignment with

MDVIP’s business goals.

• Ensure partnerships deliver measurable value in areas such as member health outcomes, physician

satisfaction, revenue growth, and competitive differentiation.

• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Physician Development to structure agreements,

maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure operational readiness and scalable execution.

• Build and mentor a team capable of scaling with MDVIP’s growth trajectory.

• Monitor healthcare, wellness, and technology trends to identify emerging opportunities that reinforce

MDVIP’s leadership in personalized healthcare and proactively address underperforming partnerships

and make data-driven decisions to optimize or exit relationships.

• Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders and external partners.

Key Competencies

• Strategic thinker and operator with a proven track record in building and scaling healthcare technology

products (EMR/AI experience preferred).

• Ability to translate complex industry trends into actionable product strategy, delivering results through

cross-functional leadership.

• Exceptional communicator and collaborator, comfortable influencing at all levels from C-suite to

engineering teams.

• Deep understanding of healthcare technology, regulatory landscape, and the real-world needs of

providers and patients.

• Demonstrated capability to thrive in dynamic environments and drive organizational change.

• Revenue and membership growth attributable to the Wellness program and product partnerships.

• Successful launch and adoption of partner-enabled products and services.

• Positive impact on physician satisfaction, member engagement, and health outcomes.

• Strength and depth of MDVIP’s partner ecosystem.

• Internal alignment and satisfaction with partnership execution and outcomes.

• Development, growth, management of a partnership’s evaluation process.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Ten (10) years of experience in partnerships, business development, or corporate development in

healthcare, health tech, or related industries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across appropriate US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience.
