Position Summary

MDVIP is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Finance team in Boca Raton, FL. Reporting to the Executive Director, Purchasing, Payables and Receivables, you will be responsible for managing the AP Team and daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and expense reports while maintaining internal controls and compliance, involving staff supervision, vendor relations, process improvement, and reporting.  The ideal candidate brings strong supervisory, communication, time management, and organization skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor AP team.
  • Process Management: Oversee the entire AP cycle, from invoice entry and verification to payment processing and reconciliations.
  • Internal Controls: Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • System Management: Utilize and manage accounting software (Coupa, Sage/Mas, Concur) for imports, approvals, data analysis and system enhancements.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling financial transactions and data, including analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organization: Ability to process high-volume, manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organized records. 
  • Personal Accountability: Takes responsibility for own actions; Sets and meets reasonable deadlines; Reports timely and prepared for the day.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, along with strong data entry abilities. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Two (2) years of leadership experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Sage/MAS, Coupa, and/or Concur.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across appropriate US geographic markets.
