Position Summary

The Director, Practice Success leads a team of Success Managers to drive measurable growth, member retention, and operational excellence across the region. This role develops and empowers the team to serve as strategic consultants and coaches, ensuring affiliates adopt best practices, achieve membership and revenue goals, and deliver exceptional member experiences. The Director sets priorities, defines regional strategies, and leverages data-driven insights to influence outcomes and accelerate Annual Contract Value (ACV).

 

The Director builds a high-performing team by establishing clear goals, metrics, and tactics, providing training and development, and holding direct reports accountable for delivering incremental revenue and practice success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional results by aligning strategies with MDVIP leadership priorities, analyzing performance, and holding direct reports accountable for consultative engagement and measurable outcomes, including:
    • Net Member Adds
    • Retention
    • AWP Compliance
    • Member Satisfaction Surveys
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop Success Managers to ensure effective territory management and achievement of growth goals.
  • Oversee onboarding and continuous training programs for affiliates and staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and operational excellence.
  • Utilize Salesforce and Power BI to analyze data, identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and prioritize actions to drive market growth within budget.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with other Practice Success Directors to optimize resources, solve problems, and improve outcomes across regions.
  • Coach and observe direct reports, conduct readiness and success workshops, and develop strong physician advocates to support new affiliate success.
  • Ensures the team’s success by building a high-performing group, hiring and developing top talent, and implementing improvement plans that leverage strengths and best practices.
  • Pursues personal success by adopting VP-recommended management best practices, benchmarking performance against peers, and actively engaging in MDVIP leadership training.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or MBA
  • Ten (10) years of leadership experience in Business Development, Practice Management or Healthcare Operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce CRM, and analytics tools (Power BI)
  • Ability to travel up to 60%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science
  • Healthcare experience working with physicians (ideally in an outpatient setting)
  • Awareness of industry trends in wellness and prevention

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across appropriate US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience.
