Director, Email Marketing

This is a hybrid position based out of our corporate office in Boca Raton, FL.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Email Marketing to lead our email marketing strategy and operations. Reporting to the VP, Member Growth, this senior leadership role requires a unique blend of strategic marketing vision and hands-on technical expertise to drive revenue growth, customer engagement, and lifetime value through one of our most critical digital channels. 

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with marketing automation platforms, particularly Marketo, combined with proven leadership in building and scaling high-performing email marketing programs at growth-stage or enterprise companies. 

• Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and revenue targets. 
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing email marketing team. 
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Analytics, Creative, and Engineering to drive channel innovation. 
• Oversee end-to-end campaign planning, development, testing, and deployment.  
• Implement robust A/B and multivariate testing programs to continuously improve performance. 
• Architect and implement sophisticated segmentation, personalization, and targeting strategies.  
• Design and optimize automated email programs including lifecycle campaigns, triggered messaging, and nurture flows. 
• Analyze campaign performance data to derive actionable insights and recommendations.  
• Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track channel health and business impact. 

• Proven track record of scaling email programs that drive significant revenue.  

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills  

• Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple stakeholders to deliver results across different business objectives  

• Strong technical skills including HTML/CSS for email, email deliverability best practices, and marketing automation architecture. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Eight (8) years of email marketing experience.
• Three (3) years of leadership experience.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms.

• Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) or equivalent certification. 
• Proficiency in SMS platforms.  
• Experience in healthcare marketing or other regulated industries.
