Position Summary

MDVIP is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of core internal platforms that power billing accuracy, pricing automation, payment integrity, and operational efficiency. This role serves as a strategic link between our financial, compliance, and technical functions—turning cross-functional goals into scalable, auditable product solutions Reporting to the Associate Director, Information Systems and Business Solutions, you will be the single point of accountability for delivering reliable, high-value infrastructure that supports long-term business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the roadmap for platform resilience across billing and payments infrastructure
  • Lead remediation of key audit findings—such as pricing-founder mismatches, physician fee accuracy, and pricing transparency mechanisms.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Salesforce, Finance, and TechOps to launch high-impact features (e.g., convenience fees, tokenized card processing, corporate billing workflows, and self-service billing tools).
  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle: from backlog prioritization and scope definition to user acceptance testing (UAT), stakeholder alignment, and release.
  • Define and track success metrics focused on accuracy, performance, reconciliation integrity, and user satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in technical product ownership, business systems, or platform product management—preferably in recurring revenue or fintech environments
  • Strong understanding of billing systems, payment processing, reconciliation flows, pricing operations, and platform lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional roadmaps with Engineering and TechOps toward timely and high-quality delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, with a structured, analytical mindset and the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management and particularly AGILE projects (Scrum Master, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in contracting and managing external vendors and technical teams (including offshore resources).
  • Previous experience in a consulting or customer facing organization.
  • Experience in AGILE projects (Scrum Master, etc.) and managing product backlogs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across appropriate US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience.
