Position Summary

A Practice Transition Manager leads a physician’s transition from the traditional practice model to an MDVIP practice model, ensuring a smooth and professionally managed process to meet or exceed all established corporate and physician transition metrics, including established membership goal. Directs the transition activities from start to finish, positively influencing and motivating the internal team’s messaging, administration, and performance; staff’s opinions and beliefs; physician’s demeanor, messaging, and actions. Conducts staff training and prepares them to effectively communicate MDVIP’s model to patients throughout the transition. Hosts effective sales events and webinars to drive membership growth. Senior level incorporates special projects, training responsibilities and development of innovative best practices as a guideline for general use by the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute key strategies of an effective personalized transition plan to achieve identified transition metrics.
  • Coordinate and deliver key trainings to educate physician and staff on the MDVIP practice model.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient transition.
  • Achieve departmental and individual goals, including guidance and yield objectives.

  • Ability to sell intangible or abstract concepts.
  • Project oriented, organized, creative, and intuitive.
  • Ability to conduct professional, compelling sales presentations (formal and informal).
  • Able to establish credibility with physician and staff and sell ideas/concepts for a win-win result.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and strategic planning skills used in prior roles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Management.
  • Four (4) years related business and/or medical sales experience.
  • Four (4) years in medical sales, account management, customer service, practice management or clinical work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience
  • Project management
  • Presentation skills and experience interfacing with physicians in a professional capacity.
  • General understanding of medical field, insurance, Medicare, credentialing, EHR systems, etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across appropriate US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience.
