Position Summary

The EHR Onboarding Customer Success Specialist is responsible for developing the implementation pipeline and managing practices through go-live of the electronic health record system. This role involves executing end-to-end project plans while guiding vendors, physicians and office staff through best practices to ensure a smooth transition. Project coordination is primarily delivered through phone consultations and web-based screen sharing tools. This is not a training position, nor a typical EHR onboarding project management role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a large number of EHR transitions/conversions, aligning implementation plans with physician needs and system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Coordinate electronic data conversions with vendors; monitor progress and support physicians through their tasks of data mapping and QA.
  • Ensures accurate and best practices are followed during implementation.
  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
  • Three (3) years of professional experience
  • Two (2) years related project management or customer success in EHR role
  • Experience with EHR systems

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Medical office clinical workflow experience
  • Customer service experience
  • PMP Certification
