About the Role:
As a Practice Transition Manager at MDVIP, you will lead physicians through a comprehensive transition from a traditional practice model to the personalized MDVIP model. With a strong focus on relationship-building, communication, and project management, you will serve as the primary driver of change for physicians and staff, ensuring a seamless, professional, and successful transformation. You will directly influence practice readiness, membership acquisition, and patient engagement outcomes while embodying MDVIP’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Passion, Leadership, and Trust.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Transition Leadership

  • Own and manage the transition timeline from the development handoff through practice launch.
  • Design and execute customized transition strategies to meet individual practice needs and corporate KPIs.
  • Conduct regular onsite visits (minimum bi-weekly) and maintain consistent, proactive communication with physicians, staff, and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the go-to problem solver for transition challenges, collaborating cross-functionally with the Patient Advocate, implementation, and internal teams.
  • Utilize Salesforce to document activities, monitor transition milestones, and report updates.
  • For senior-level team members: spearhead strategic projects and mentor new hires.

Training & Engagement

  • Deliver dynamic, tailored training sessions for physicians and staff, ensuring clear understanding of MDVIP's model and tools.
  • Lead and present at town halls, patient events, and webinars to communicate value and drive enrollment.
  • Guide physicians through PR/media training in coordination with MDVIP communications.

 

 

Administration & Reporting

  • Coordinate travel, event logistics, and materials in support of transition activities.
  • Submit weekly expense reports and maintain accurate planning documents

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achievement of individual and departmental membership and yield goals.
  • Timely completion of practice milestones and transition tasks.
  • High levels of physician and staff satisfaction.
  • Quality and consistency of training and event facilitation

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in medical sales, outside sales or account management
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and influence outcomes
  • Proven success as a Road Warrior (at least 50% regular travel in a previous position)
  • Highly skilled in public speaking, facilitation, and relationship-building
  • Comfortable selling abstract concepts and coaching professionals
  • Must be able to travel 70-90% nationally.
  • Residence must be within 45 miles or 90 minutes of a major U.S. airport.
  • Must maintain a home office with reliable high-speed internet.
  • Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
  • HIPAA certification required within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in healthcare sales, outside sales, project management
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Prior experience with MDVIP transitions highly desirable (required for senior level).
