Position Summary

The Jr. Data Steward Analyst is responsible for supporting data governance and quality initiatives by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of organizational data. Reporting to the Executive Director, Sales Enablement you will work on data entry, cleansing, validation, and profiling to identify and resolve anomalies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce data standards, maintain documentation, and implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete weekly and monthly audits within Salesforce to identify errors, update information and make necessary adjustments to ensure data aligns with business requirements.
  • Assist with data vendor refreshes through standardization, manipulation and Excel file preparation for the upload process.
  • Identify gaps in regional sales data management and work with the team to address.
  • Partner with Senior Data Governance Analyst to ensure Salesforce process and procedures are documented and develop training courses and library to execute consistent application of procedures.

Key Competencies

  • Proven ability to analyze and profile data to identify anomalies, gaps, duplicates, or quality issues.
  • Effective cross functional collaboration skills to work with Senior Data Governance Analyst, IT, Sales Operations and Field Sales Teams to resolve data issues and enforce data standards.
  • Familiarity with different reporting tools and their filtering capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout all stages of analysis and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • One (1) year of professional experience in data cleansing and manipulation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools (e.g., charts, conditional formatting).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in data cleansing and manipulation.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with SQL or Access.
