MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Healthcare Quality and Compliance Manager who will provide team oversight of the Quality Improvement team focused on ensuring necessary compliance training, response to member complaints, and a variety of HIPAA/HITECH compliance projects. This role reports to the Executive Director for the team. This role works onsite, however does qualify for a hybrid status after an initial training period.

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to day program and project oversight for a variety of departmental responsibilities, including but not limited to Wellness Program Compliance, Physician Credentialing, Complaint resolution and additional privacy and compliance activities.
  • Develops, implements and tracks workflow processes to effectively achieve deliverables and deadlines.
  • Manages and oversees content development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for physician portal.
  • Supervises staff to ensure each member achieves goals, deliverables, and timelines. Provides effective feedback to support performance expectations.  Provides coaching to achieve individual’s professional development goals.
  • Represents the team in operational meetings and projects.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to identify regional trends. Identifies areas of concern and writes reports to elevate awareness, and makes recommendations to Medical Advisory Committee and Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree and at least four year’s related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two year’s related experience equals one year of schooling. Related experience includes prior work experience in a healthcare privacy and/or compliance role.  MDVIP experience and prior knowledge may substitute for certain requirements.

 

Required Skills:

  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and manage objectives with little supervision.
  • Ability to identify, handle and resolve recurring issues.
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Content Management Software and CRM databases. Demonstrates an ability to learn new software easily.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience using a Content Management System (e.g. Drupal)

Corporate office role: As a corporate based role in Boca Raton, FL, employees are expected to work from the corporate office.
