MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Product Management Director who will collaborate with executives to translate the company growth vision into action through owning a comprehensive product strategy for new growth product offerings in concierge medicine, spanning both the physician and consumer end markets.  This leader will own the overall P&L and KPIs/outcomes for these products with responsibilities that span business and pricing strategy, market research, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and commercial roadmap backlog development.  This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to launch new product development initiatives, specifically in the concierge healthcare industry.
  • Conducts primary and secondary market research and data analysis to inform hypotheses and ensure tests meet user needs and market demand.
  • Partners with marketing, strategic technology group, client services, field enablement, and other internal and external stakeholders and senior management to ensure that overall product performance and economic goals are met.
  • Defines and establishes metrics of success and failure; ensures cross functional teams are clear on objectives with established product goals, metrics, KPIs. 
  • Customer Focus: Maintains a strong customer-centric approach by gathering feedback, addressing customer needs, and enhancing customer satisfaction through product improvements.
  • Defines and manages operational changes to existing products, such as website navigation, user interface, content update frequency, content shelf life, service goals, user experience, and expectations. 
  • Develops commercial roadmaps initiatives with clear success/value metrics, enabling engineering backlog to build best-in-class omni-channel patience experience platforms (web portal, mobile app, etc.)

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university plus at least 8 years related business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years related experience equals one year of schooling. Related experience assumes a similar corporate role focused on all aspects of a business such as Operations, Finance, and Product Development to Sales and Marketing. Specific prior experience within the healthcare industry is a plus.

  • Experience with product development, business planning and future visioning, as well as quantitative and economic and ROI modeling is required.
  • Proven ability to align internal and external stakeholders around a common mission and execution plan when developing new initiatives within a larger organization is a must.
  • Proven track record of successfully setting product vision and defining products, including target customer identification, core value proposition articulation, and business model development.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.
  • Comfortable working in a lean team environment and taking on diverse sets of responsibilities.

Corporate office role: As a corporate based role in Boca Raton, FL, employees are expected to work from the corporate office.
