MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Key Accounts Director, Physician Director who will be responsible for continuously managing, developing, and fostering the relationships of key national affiliated MDVIP accounts by building client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, expanding business opportunities, and providing timely updates regarding account activities.  Identifies and develops sales opportunities within these national key large primary health systems already affiliated with MDVIP networks.  Executes individual sales plans while working closely with national sales teams to provide support and guidance in matters of sales to currently contracted large groups and health systems.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the growth, management, retention, and satisfaction of a portfolio of assigned key accounts as primary advisor. Acts as primary contact between the organization and members of key accounts and health systems.
  • Oversees key account relationships for assigned clients in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, attaining additional business and developing opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall business objectives.
  • Provides engagement leadership and is regarded by clients as an expert and trusted advisor.
  • Works closely and builds relationships with the national sales team, providing support and guidance to the regional teams in matters of sales to currently contracted large key groups and health systems.
  • Collaborates with Leadership to provide regular updates regarding relationship status, progress, direction, and obstacles within the enhanced and value add sales process.
  • Tracks sales and activity against the contracted health systems and large group administrations within Salesforce.
  • Researches and recommends the necessary support system, structure and flexibility needed to ensure success within our current affiliated accounts.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Knowledge:  

Bachelor's degree (B A.) from four-year college or university and at least six year’s related business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two year’s related experience equals one year of schooling.  Related experience assumes a similar healthcare related sales management role with:

  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated experience and capabilities as a top performing sales professional
  • Specific experience and contact with Primary Care Physicians effectively selling intangible ideas/concepts.
  • Experience presenting professional, compelling sales presentations (formal and informal).
  • Ability to establish credibility with physicians, spouses, and staff.
  • Able to demonstrate a strong business/financial acumen.

  • Regularly required to sit; use hands/fingers to key, handle controls; drive, talk or hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus from near to far. 
  • Frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, stand and walk.
  • Must talk and/or hear for significant periods of each day.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds periodically. 
  • Must be flexible to work at various hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.  Attendance at quarterly weekend event is required, as assigned.
  • To meet business needs, this position requires a highly motivated  individual to regularly travel with overnight stays, by air or land, approximately 90%, including 2-3 overnight stays weekly. In periods of high volume, it may exceed this amount. Employee must be self-directed and able to work autonomously from a home office when not traveling.

 

Field based Physician Development roles:  This role requires substantial travel within a designated territory or region as identified at the time of hire.  At no time may work be performed, or computer systems accessed, from outside of the U.S.

  • Home residence is the taxable location.
  • For roles requiring substantial air travel, the home residence must be within 45 miles or 90 minutes driving distance to a large airport servicing the United States.
  • Home residence must be within a central part of the territory to efficiently meet business requirements.
  • Any change to the state of residence shall solely be at the discretion and approval of executive leadership.
