MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist who will provides administrative support and full cycle recruitment in the Human Resources department.  Performs daily administrative operations functions in areas of talent acquisition, onboarding, new hire orientation and general record-keeping.  Interacts with employees, management, and other business associates.  Responsible for specific HR activities and processes and executes thoroughly within the appropriate level of supervision.  Maintains knowledge of company and legal employment policies, office procedures and customer service standards.  Ensures confidentiality is always maintained and provides information only to those with a need to know. This role reports to Manager, Human Resources & Payroll and supports the Human Resources team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for clinical and non-exempt recruitment and provides support to the Talent Acquisition Manager in areas of sourcing, ATS data management, full cycle recruitment.
    • Assists with editing and posting of job profiles to initiate the requisition process.  Develops/updates screening questionnaire and testing requirements, as required.
    • Reviews incoming resumes timely, assessing qualifications, and identifies next actions. Searches internal and external databases for qualified candidates, conducts screening interviews and sends qualified applicants to managers.
    • Communicates effectively with candidates, agencies, and managers during search.
  • Coordinates and/or performs reference checking and background screening process, and all candidate communications.
  • Performs new hire onboarding activities, including completion of pre-hire screenings, offer letters, welcome letters, I-9 verification, and new hire personnel files. Coordinates and greets corporate new hires on first day.
  • Assists with HR recordkeeping file activities as needed.
  • Serves as Content Administrator for the HR department’s intranet, developing content and assisting the team with relevant updates when needed.
  • Coordinates and assists with new hire and benefit orientation scheduling and responds to questions as needed.
  • Assists with implementation of company wellness and L&OD events; annual flu shot, onsite biometric screening, culture day, and other company initiatives.
  • Provides general administrative support to HR team. Provides receptionist back-up support for scheduled break times.

Qualifications

Associate degree in business or comparable degree and at least two years specific HR experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two year’s HR experience equals one year of schooling.  Prior MDVIP HR experience may substitute for one year of the experience requirement.

 

  • Related experience assumes a similar corporate role focused on varied human resource functions, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, and recordkeeping.
  • Must possess basic knowledge of HR disciplines, as well as the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing and demonstrate extreme attention to detail.
  • Basic to intermediate to Excel skill is highly desirable.

Corporate based roles:  As a corporate based role in Boca Raton, FL, employees are expected to work from the corporate office unless deemed eligible for the company’s Work from Home program.  This program has position, tenure, and performance requirements that must be met and receive management approval.  At no time may work be performed, or computer systems accessed, from outside of the U.S.
