Overview

MDVIP is looking for talented and impassioned sales professionals who thrive in a highly customized and consultative selling environment. Our healthcare telephone sales representatives play a key role in communicating the benefits of the MDVIP program to potential members through outbound sales campaigns to reach transitioning physician’s patients (using established leads).

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sells prospective members on the benefits of MDVIP membership in an MDVIP-affiliated physician practice.  Explains the program effectively, discovering which program components generate interest so that they can demonstrate the value of the program. 
  • Handles inbound call activity and accurately documents Salesforce (CRM system) with the outcome of all inbound and outbound interactions.
  • Performs general research and problem resolution. Escalates concerns to management, as necessary.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Knowledge:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); an Associate degree is desirable, but not required. One year of related experience is needed, which may include prior customer service in a call center environment, or retail sales, general business or administrative experience. Prior direct sales experience is preferred.

 Required skills include:

  • Strong communication skills – able to articulate the message persuasively in a concise manner.  Speaks clearly, using appropriate grammar and word choice. While not required, foreign language fluency may be considered a plus. 
  • Demonstrates professional telephone etiquette and ability to use advanced phone systems.  
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and manage objectives with little supervision.
  • Types with speed and accuracy, demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to document records in database efficiently.
  • Prior experience with various call center solutions a plus.
