Come join the Value Based Care team at the nation’s largest network of Primary Care Physicians specializing in membership-based personalized, preventative healthcare.  MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Sr. Manager, Value Based Care  (VBC) Programs who will be responsible for successfully developing and supporting all operational aspects of our Value Based Care (VBC), Accountable Care (ACO) and Population Health initiatives. .  As Sr. Manager, you will report to the Vice President of Physician Services and have responsibility for the day-to-day implementation and execution of MDVIP’s VBC programs in our innovative primary care model.  You will oversee complex, cross-functional initiatives, develop relationships with stakeholders, physicians and vendors, as well as participate in the development of strategies designed to achieve quadruple aim results in a unique, patient centric care delivery model.

Responsibilities

  • Has a working understanding of and values the vision and strategies of Value Based Care (VBC); leads efforts supporting accountability for better care, better experiences, and reduced healthcare costs for the populations served.
  • Provides program/project management to fulfill the strategic directives of VBC programs/ initiatives while facilitating improvement strategies for care delivery model.
  • Performs data analysis to identify and prioritize VBC physician prospects, track outcomes, identify opportunities to improve cost/quality, and develop dashboard reporting.
  • Coordinates multidisciplinary planning conferences, develops concise summaries for use by the management team, and documents recommendations utilizing standard care/financial protocols.
  • Develops and maintains written program procedures, policies and resource manuals in collaboration with program staff.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in the study of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field and at least five years related business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years related experience equals one year of schooling. Related experience assumes a similar role focused on project/program management in a healthcare setting. 

 

Required Experience & Knowledge:

  • Prior responsibility for collaborating with all levels of management and medical staff to improve organizational effectiveness and enhance services and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of process/performance improvement methodologies, project management program development, and change management.
  • Strong data collection, manipulation and analysis skills including ability to formulate conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical and systematic manner.
  • Ability to influence people through strong leadership, communication, and negotiation to garner support while tactfully managing complex relationships across the organization. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situations and react/plan accordingly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in order to translate technical matters to clinical and operations staff and vice versa, to facilitate communication between diverse groups, to effectively identify, assess and facilitate improvements and resolutions and to present advisory, persuasive and authoritative recommendations to all levels of the organizations.
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and Values of MDVIP.

 

Hybrid Office Role:  As a corporate based role in Boca Raton, FL, employees are expected to work from the corporate office in a hybrid model; with two days of remote, and three days in office after a ninety-day period.
